W Talent are delighted to be supporting a number of business in the Halifax, Huddersfield and Bradford area.
One such client is looking for a Purchasing specialist to join their team, based in Halifax. This role supports day-to-day procurement, supplier management, and order fulfilment, ensuring smooth operations across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with purchasing operations, supplier identification & negotiations
Raise and manage purchase orders, RFQs & supplier communications
Maintain purchasing records and analyse MRP reports
Collaborate across departments to ensure seamless order fulfilment
What We're Looking For:
Previous experience of purchasing is essential
- Experience of a manufacturing environment is highly desirable
Strong communication & organisational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
