An exciting opportunity has become available for a Financial Controller to join a well-established but growing organisation which has successfully acquired a couple of other organisations, and are therefore seeking to appoint a number of key finance positions.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Responsible for maintaining the finance function and overseeing all day-to-day finance operations as delivered by the Finance Team.
- Provide strategic financial support to the Finance Director to facilitate wider decision making and business planning as required.
- Manage the maintenance of the financial accounting system and accounting processes.
- Oversee preparation and analysis of month end management accounts, completion of monthly executive report packs.
- Review the Management Accounts and balance sheets and investigate variances in conjunction with other members of the Senior Management Team.
- Provide insightful performance monthly analysis to help the business achieve its commercial objectives.
- Manage the entire year-end process and take overall responsibility for balance sheet and reconciliations.
- Review and oversee financial transactions and internal controls, cash flow forecasting and review of finance KPIs.
- Management and development of the Finance team.
Essential Qualifications & Training
- Educated to degree level, with an accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA or ACCA).
- Proficient IT skills including Microsoft packages.

- A strong focus and background in financial controls & processes.
- Attention to detail, but with the ability to think strategically as needed.
- Excellent communication, team building, and project management skills.
- A proactive and adaptable approach.
- Ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external.
