Role Overview:
The Senior Vice President (SVP) of EPC is a key executive role responsible for driving the company's strategic growth within the power delivery sector. This individual will oversee the execution of large-scale EPC projects, foster high-level client relationships, and drive business development efforts to expand market share. This position requires a proven leader with extensive experience in both engineering and construction, particularly within high-voltage T&D projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the overall EPC operations, ensuring seamless integration of engineering, procurement, and construction activities.
- Develop and execute strategies to drive revenue growth and operational efficiency.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with major IOUs and key industry stakeholders.
- Oversee P&L responsibilities, ensuring profitability and financial performance targets are met.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, setting ambitious client acquisition targets.
- Provide executive leadership to project teams, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of EPC projects.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Act as a thought leader within the power delivery industry, representing the company at key industry events and conferences.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 20+ years of experience in the power delivery sector, with a strong background in both engineering and construction.
- Proven track record of success in executive leadership roles, preferably within major EPC firms such as MasTec, Primoris, or similar.
- Extensive experience in P&L management, business development, and client relations.
- Strong understanding of high-voltage transmission and distribution projects.
- Ability to lead large, cross-functional teams across multiple regions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
