We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Transmission Line Engineer to join our clients team on a remote basis. The ideal candidate will have between 3 to 8 years of experience in the design, analysis, and project management of transmission line projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a dynamic team on innovative projects while enjoying the flexibility of remote work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Analysis: Perform detailed engineering design and analysis of transmission lines, including structural, electrical, and civil components.
  • Project Management: Manage transmission line projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all milestones are met on time and within budget.
  • Technical Documentation: Prepare and review technical reports, design specifications, and construction documents.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with industry standards, regulations, and safety guidelines.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including civil, electrical, and environmental engineers to ensure project success.
  • Client Interaction: Interface with clients to understand their needs, provide technical guidance, and ensure satisfaction with project outcomes.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve technical issues and challenges that arise during project execution.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct quality control reviews of project deliverables to ensure the highest standards of engineering are maintained.
  • Innovation: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve engineering solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3-8 years of relevant experience in transmission line design and engineering.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in industry-standard software such as PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, and AutoCAD. Experience with GIS tools and software is a plus.
  • Certifications: Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not required.
