Jake Taplin

Jake is a Principal Consultant based in our London office, specialising in the US power infrastructure and clean energy engineering sectors. With a focus on renewable energy, particularly microgrids, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and substation engineering, Jake partners effectively with consultancies, independent power producers, and developers. His recruitment expertise spans from entry-level design engineers to C-level executives.

Jake excels at engaging with companies of varying scales, from emerging startups to established billion-dollar firms, meticulously aligning candidate expertise with specific business needs.

A graduate of the University of Brighton with a BSc in Sport and Environmental Sciences, Jake also pursues a passion for sports and photography, and as a freelance photographer likes to capture scenes from large-scale athletic events in his spare time.
